Myrica rubra

Myrica rubra is a fruit-bearing, evergreen shrub native to Southeast Asia. It reaches approximately 10 meters in height.

The fruit is spherical, red, edible, and sweet, making it suitable for preserves!

The leaves are dark green, shiny, leathery, and lacentate.

The flowers are small, dark red, and bloom profusely.

The plant has medicinal properties!

Myrica rubra requires slightly acidic, well-drained, and moist soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Soak the seeds in water for approximately 24 hours. After soaking, place the seeds in a container with moist, acidic soil and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the container (at approximately 4°C) for approximately 3 months.

In March or April, after the stratification period, remove the container with seeds and place them outside, protected from frost.

Cover the seeds with a thin layer of acidic soil and then mist thoroughly with a spray bottle.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
