Pinus sylvestris

Scots pine is an evergreen conifer with a loose crown. It is common in mountainous areas of Northern and Central Europe and Eastern Siberia.
It reaches a height of 30 m.
The needles are gray-green to blue-green, borne in pairs on short shoots. They are stiff and hard, pointed, finely serrated, and twisted around their axis. They remain on the tree for 3 to 6 years.
The cones, borne on short peduncles, are small and green, sometimes curved, opening over time to a broadly ovoid shape and turning brown.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, as well as a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in water for 12-24 hours.
Mix acidic peat moss with sand in a 1:1 ratio.
Place the seeds in a container or ziplock bag with moist potting mix.
Store the container in the refrigerator for about a month.
Once stratification is complete, sow the seeds in pots with potting mix.
SEEDS ARE FOR SOWING ONLY!
