Paulownia tomentosa
Paulownia tomentosa is a tree native to China, growing up to 20 meters tall with a wide, spherical crown.
The plant is adapted to the European climate and tolerates winter well. Paulownia has the ability to grow rapidly (up to 2 meters per year) and regenerate.
One of the plant's advantages is its large leaves, which in a mature tree can reach up to 40 cm in length. The beautiful, large, purple-blue flowers of Paulownia, approximately 5 cm in size, are clustered in 40 cm panicles.
In our climate, they appear in May, before the leaves emerge.
Paulownia has no special soil requirements.
It prefers sunny locations but also grows in shade.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, as well as a plant passport, if required.
