Bauhinia Purpurea
Bauhinia Purpurea is a small, beautiful, tropical tree native to Southeast Asia.
It grows up to 5 meters tall.
The leaves are broad, rounded, alternate, and bilobed at the base and apex. They are also used medicinally.
The fruit is a 30-centimeter-long pod containing 12 to 16 seeds.
The flowers are very attractive, pink and fragrant, with five petals.
Bauhinia Purpurea grows best when planted in fertile, moist, and well-drained soil. Soil type is not particularly critical, as it can grow in sandy, clay, or gravelly soil. It prefers a sunny location.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are high-quality and designed for both nurserymen and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Pour boiling water over the seeds and let them soak overnight.
Sow only those seeds that have swelled in a warm, shaded or semi-shady location. Sow them at a depth equal to their width.
Ensure the soil doesn't dry out.
Place the seed container in a location where it won't dry out.
In colder climates, it's best to grow it in a pot, which can be moved indoors in winter.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
