Araucaria cunninghamii

Araucaria cunninghamii, known as the hoop pine, is a tree native to Australia.

It grows up to 60 meters tall.

The leaves are awl-shaped, 1-2 cm long. The plant is suitable for bonsai.

The cones are ovoid and take about 18 months to mature.

Once mature, they disintegrate, releasing edible, nut-like seeds.

It prefers a sunny location, but not in direct sunlight.
