Rosa canina var. Laxa
Rosa canina var. Laxa is a species of rose native to Asia.
It grows up to 1-2 meters tall.
It has green, compound leaves, typical of a rose.
It blooms in summer, with single white or light pink flowers.
The flowers develop into elongated or round, shiny, red fruits in late summer.
Rosa canina var. Laxa is an extremely hardy plant, tolerant of both low temperatures and dry locations, although it naturally grows in humid areas, and such conditions are optimal for it.
The above photo shows the seeds of the plant included in the offer. The photo does not represent the quantity of seeds included; it is only a preview image illustrating the size of the seeds.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
The package contains 10 grams of seeds, which equates to approximately +/- 500 seeds (the quantity is based on the weight of each seed).
Seed Handling Instructions:
Stratify the seeds – mix the seeds with moist sand and peat and place the container in the refrigerator for several weeks. Once the seeds have completed stratification, sow them 1-2 cm deep into the soil. Alternatively, they can be sown in containers with potting mix and maintained at a constant humidity and temperature of around 20°C (68°F).
If you don't stratify, you can sow the seeds directly into the ground before winter, in a sheltered location.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
