Magnolia sieboldii

Magnolia sieboldii is a low-growing tree native to the Far East. In our climate, it reaches approximately 4 meters in height.

The flowers are white with a dark center, up to 12 cm in diameter, and fragrant. It blooms in late June and early August!

The fruit is red, obovate to ellipsoid in shape.

The leaves are bluish-green, ovate, turning yellow in autumn.

Magnolia sieboldii requires moist, humus-rich, fertile, and slightly acidic soil. It prefers a partially sunny location. It is frost-resistant.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Seeds require stratification - mix the seeds with wet sand or peat and store in a cool place at 1-10°C (33-50°F) for 3-4 months.

The best time to sow is in spring, after the frost period has ended.

Seeds can be sown directly into the ground or in seedling boxes.

Sow the seeds to a depth of about twice their diameter.

The soil should be constantly moist, but avoid stagnant water.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
