Evodia hupehensis
Evodia hupehensis is a small tree native to China and Korea. It grows up to 6 meters tall.
The plant is melliferous! Evodia chinensis is one of the most melliferous trees.
The flowers are white, pleasantly scented, clustered at the ends of the shoots in umbels 15 cm in diameter, and begin blooming at the turn of June and August.
The leaves are large, dark green, and pinnate, turning yellow in autumn.
The red-brown fruit, clustered in dense clusters, ripens in September.
Evodia hupehensis requires fertile and well-drained soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is completely frost-hardy.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are high-quality and designed for both nurserymen and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Seeds require stratification - Combine the seeds with moist sand and place them in a container or ziplock bag and store in the refrigerator for approximately 13 weeks.
After the stratification period, sow the seeds in well-drained soil.
Keep the soil moist, but not wet, by covering the pots with plastic wrap or a glass window to retain moisture.
Place the pots in a cool place. Once sprouts appear, transplant the seedlings to their final location.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
