Decorative, white flowers. During the flowering period, they are densely covered with inflorescences. It blooms at the turn of May and June.
The edible fruit, similar in shape to strawberries, ripens in autumn. Ripe, pink.
The leaves are green, broadly elliptical, turning crimson in autumn.
Cornus kausa chinensis requires fertile, humus-rich soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. Frost-resistant.
