Cornus kausa chinensis

Cornus kausa chinensis is a tall, open-growing shrub native to China and Japan. In our climate, it reaches approximately 3 meters in height.

Decorative, white flowers. During the flowering period, they are densely covered with inflorescences. It blooms at the turn of May and June.

The edible fruit, similar in shape to strawberries, ripens in autumn. Ripe, pink.

The leaves are green, broadly elliptical, turning crimson in autumn.

Cornus kausa chinensis requires fertile, humus-rich soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. Frost-resistant.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, as well as a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Seeds require stratification – soak them in warm water for 48 hours, then place them in a container with moist, well-drained soil and move them to a cool room at approximately 4°C (39°F) for 4-6 months.

They can be sown indoors at any time of year or in autumn, preferably under cover, such as in a greenhouse or cold frame.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
