Paeonia suffruticosa

Paeonia suffruticosa is a shrub native to China. It grows to a height of 2-3 meters.

The flowers are large, single or double, up to 20 cm in diameter, fragrant, and white, pink, and purple, and begin blooming in late May and early June.

The fruit, rectangular in shape, ripens in August.

The leaves are large, pinnate, up to 30 cm long, clustered at the tops of the shoots, turning yellow and red in autumn.

Paeonia suffruticosa has no special soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partially sunny, sheltered locations. It is frost-hardy to -29°C (-22°F).

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN (Polish Chamber of Inspection and Inspection), and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are high-quality and designed for both nurserymen and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Before cold stratification, you can warm stratify for about 6 weeks. Mix the seeds with moist soil and place them in a warm place. After warm stratification, place the seed and sand mixture in the refrigerator, where the temperature does not exceed 5°C. Untie the bag periodically and shake it to ensure air exchange and even humidity.

After the stratification period, sow the seeds in a garden bed or in pots. Remember to plant them about 5 cm deep, spacing them about 2.5-5 cm apart.

Water thoroughly after sowing.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
