Xanthoceras sorbifolium
Xanthoceras sorbifolium is a shrub native to northern China and Mongolia. It grows up to 6 meters tall.
The flowers are large, white with a reddish-yellow center, clustered in fragrant clusters. Blooming begins in late May and early June.
The edible, very tasty fruit resembles chestnuts and is brown in color.
The compound leaves are up to 30 cm long, dark green, glossy, and pinnate.
Xanthoceras sorbifolium has no special soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partially sunny, sheltered locations. It is frost-hardy to -20°C (-4°F).
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN (Polish Chamber of Inspection and Inspection), and a plant passport, if required.

Seed Handling Instructions:
Seeds require stratification. Mix the seeds with moist sand and refrigerate for approximately 2-3 months. After this process, sow the seeds in pots in early spring or directly into the ground after the frost has passed. Sow them approximately 2-3 cm deep. The soil should be light, sandy-loam, and well-drained.
Keep the soil moist, but avoid overwatering.
