Cercis canadensis
Cercis canadensis is a tree or tall shrub that grows up to 6 meters tall in Poland.
The plant's name comes from Judas, who supposedly hanged himself from this very tree after betraying Jesus.
The plant's pinkish-purple flowers, which grow directly from the tree's trunk and branches, are a particular highlight!
The flowering period is April-May.
Cercis canadensis has no special soil requirements and is completely frost-resistant!
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Instructions for handling seeds:
The seeds require stratification - store them in a cool place, such as the refrigerator, for several weeks to chill them. Before sowing, you can also gently damage the hard seed coats, for example, by rubbing them with sandpaper or briefly immersing them in boiling water, which will facilitate germination.
In February or March, sow the seeds in pots with light, well-drained soil and place them in a warm location.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
