Cornus alternifolia
Cornus alternifolia is a tree or tall shrub native to North America. In our climate, it reaches approximately 6 meters in height.
The flowers are creamy, fragrant, and clustered in erect inflorescences. It blooms in late May and early June.
The fruit are blue-black drupes, arranged in clusters.
The leaves are dark green, glossy, broadly ovate, turning orange or red in autumn.
Cornus alternifolia requires fertile, moderately moist soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is frost-resistant.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed handling instructions:
The seeds should undergo a stratification process for 3-4 months. The best time to sow is early spring, after the stratification period is complete. You can also sow in the fall, which eliminates the need for stratification. Sow the seeds in light soil.
Maintain constant moisture, but avoid overwatering.
SEEDS INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
