Jacaranda mimosifolia
Jacaranda mimosifolia is a tree native to South America. It grows up to 6 meters tall.
The bell-shaped, fragrant, lavender-blue flowers, up to 5 centimeters long, cluster in panicles, bloom profusely from spring until July. The plant is suitable for bonsai!
The fruit are woody capsules with winged seeds. The leaves are decorative, evergreen, pinnate, pointed, and large, up to 40 cm long. Jacaranda mimosifolia requires fertile, well-drained soil. It prefers a sunny location. Frost hardiness down to -8 degrees Celsius.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Use a light and well-draining mix, e.g., 50% all-purpose soil, 30% coarse sand or perlite, and 20% peat. Fill pots or trays with the prepared soil.
Place the seeds on the surface and lightly cover them with a layer of soil about 1 cm thick. Water them gently.
