Decaisnea fargesii
Decaisnea fargesii is a shrub with a loose habit, native to Southeast Asia. In our climate, it reaches approximately 3 meters in height.
The flowers are greenish-yellow, bell-shaped, and clustered in large panicles. It blooms in late May and early June.
The capsule-shaped fruit, 10 cm long, cylindrical, and edible. Ripe, they are blue.
The leaves are large, 80 cm long, dark green, pinnately compound, and ovate, turning yellow in autumn.
Decaisnea fargesii requires fertile, well-drained, and moderately moist soil. It prefers sunny or partially sunny, sheltered locations. It is frost-resistant.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

Seed Handling Instructions:
Seeds require stratification, so mix them with moist sand or peat and refrigerate for about 2-3 months before spring sowing. Sow in pots filled with fertile, humus-rich, and well-drained soil. Seeds should be covered with a thin layer of soil. Provide a sunny location, maintain moisture, but avoid overwatering.
