Cassia fistula

Cassia fistula is a legume tree from the legume family. It is native to the Indian subcontinent. It is considered the national tree of Thailand and the state tree of Kerala in India.

It grows up to 20 meters tall.

Leaves are 15-60 cm long, bipinnate, and composed of 4-7 leaflets.

The fruit is a brown, non-decaying pod up to 60 cm long. Inside, it is divided into chambers, each containing a single seed.

The flowers are showy, yellow, fragrant, and hang in long clusters. They bloom in late spring.

Cassia fistula prefers a sunny location.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours, then sow them in the ground or in pots in April or May. Seeds should be planted about 1-2 cm deep in well-drained soil. After sowing, moisten the soil thoroughly and ensure a sunny location.

SEEDS ARE FOR SOWING ONLY!
