Exochorda racemosa
Exochorda racemosa is a broad shrub growing up to 4 meters tall, native to eastern China.
The snow-white flowers, large and up to 4 cm in diameter, form loose clusters of 6-10, bloom from mid-May to mid-June.
The leaves are narrow, green, and appear in early spring. The leaves turn yellow in autumn.
The fruit is a brown trumpet, 1 cm in diameter, remaining on the plant until spring.
Exochorda racemosa can be pruned and shaped to maximize flowering.
The plant has no special soil requirements. It prefers partial sun and is resistant to pests and diseases. It is completely frost-hardy.
Each order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
It is recommended to undergo a short-term, cold stratification. Sow in March or April. The soil should be well-drained and fertile, and ensure a sunny location and constant moisture, but avoid overwatering.
