Cornus sanguinea is a spreading, dense shrub native to Europe and Asia. In our climate, it reaches approximately 4 meters in height.
The flowers are creamy white, fragrant, and clustered in corymbs up to 20 cm in diameter. They begin blooming in late May and early June.
The edible fruit is spherical, ripe, dark blue.
The leaves are dark green, ovate, elliptical, and seasonal, turning red in autumn.

Cornus sanguinea has no soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is frost-resistant.

Seed Handling Instructions:
Pour warm water over the seeds and let them sit for 24-48 hours.
It's best to sow them in the fall to allow them to undergo natural winter stratification. Spring sowing is also possible, after stratification.
For autumn sowing, sow the seeds directly into the ground, 2-3 cm deep.
For spring sowing, sow the seeds 2-3 cm deep in a well-drained substrate, which can be prepared with a mixture of compost and sand or perlite.
After sowing, water the seeds regularly to keep the soil moist.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
