Eleagnus angustifolia
Eleagnus angustifolia is a small tree or spreading shrub native to Central Asia. In our climate, it reaches approximately 6 meters in height.
The edible fruit, greenish, then yellow, and finally orange-brown, ripens in autumn. They persist on the shoots for a long time, often throughout the winter.
The yellow flowers, strongly and pleasantly scented, bloom in late May and early June.
The plant is a melliferous plant!
The leaves are silvery, narrow, and lacentate, remaining on the plant until December.
Eleagnus angustifolia has no special soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is frost- and drought-resistant.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are high-quality and designed for both nurserymen and amateurs.

Sow seeds directly into the ground from September to November.
If you want to sow seeds in spring, stratify them for three months (chilling in moist sand or peat) before sowing.
