It grows up to 4 meters tall.
The leaves are green, alternate, and consist of a dozen or so oval-oblong secondary leaflets.
The flowers are yellow, in clusters up to 40 cm long. The inflorescences resemble candles.
The fruit are flat, brown pods up to 12 cm long, splitting lengthwise, and winged.
Cassia Alata prefers a sunny location.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Place the seeds in pots, avoiding covering them with too much soil.
Keep the soil constantly moist, but not wet, for at least a few weeks after sowing.
Place the pots in a sunny, warm location, sheltered from the wind.
Once the risk of frost has passed, transplant the seedlings into the ground. Winged cassia is sensitive to frost.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
