Ilex verticillata is a shrub native to North America. In our climate, it reaches approximately 3 meters in height.
The flowers are white and numerous. It blooms in late May and early June.
The fruit are red, glossy, spherical berries that remain on the shrub throughout most of the winter.
The leaves are dark green, seasonal, ovate, and turn various colors in autumn.
Ilex verticillata requires fertile, moist, and well-drained soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is frost-resistant.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours, then stratify. To stratify the seeds, place them in moist sand or peat and store them in the refrigerator for 2-3 months. In spring, sow the seeds in pots or in the ground. The soil should be light, humus-rich, and slightly acidic.
Maintain constant moisture and avoid overwatering.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
