The White Mimosa is a very rare tree or shrub native to Central America.

It grows up to 7 meters tall.

The leaves are green, alternate, and pinnate.

The flowers are small, white, arranged at the ends of the branches in a fluffy ball formed by numerous stamens.

The fruits are oblong, green pods, 20 cm long, containing flattened seeds.
