Alstonia scholaris
Alstonia scholaris is a large tree native to Asia.
It reaches up to 40 m in height.
Attractive leaves, dark green above and lighter gray-green below, clustered in rings of 3-10, borne on 1-3 cm long petioles.
Greenish-white flowers, clustered in dense clusters with hairy stalks.
It has medicinal properties.
The fruit are long, even-skinned follicles containing elongated seeds.
Alstonia scholaris requires fertile, well-drained, loamy soil. It prefers a sunny location.

Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in water for approximately 12 hours.
Prepare well-draining soil. Place the seeds in the soil, covering them with a thin layer of soil or gently pressing them into the soil if they are very small.
Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
Provide the plant with a sunny or partially shaded location.
