Quercus robur
Quercus robur is a large tree with a wide, irregular crown, native to Europe, reaching approximately 40 meters in height.
The flowers are long, loose, pendulous, and yellow. It blooms in late April and early May.
The leaves are green, small, leathery, opposite, and elliptical.
The fruit is acorn-shaped, collected in groups of 2-3, on long stalks.
The plant has medicinal properties! The English oak contains anti-inflammatory substances that help reduce inflammation in the body.
Quercus robur grows best in fertile, moist soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations and is completely frost-hardy.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are of high quality and designed for both nurserymen and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
It's best to sow seeds in autumn or early spring. Before sowing in spring, it's a good idea to stratify the seeds by storing them in the refrigerator for 3-12 weeks. Then, plant the seeds in well-prepared, slightly moist soil to a depth of about 4-5 cm.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
