Tilia cordata
Tilia cordata is a magnificent tree native to Europe and East Asia. It grows up to 30 meters tall.
The plant has medicinal properties! Linden tea helps with the first signs of a cold, and the mucilage it contains soothes coughs and sore throats.
The flowers are light yellow and exude an intense, pleasant fragrance. Blooming begins in late June and early July.
The plant is a melliferous plant!
The fruit is round, brown, nut-shaped.
The leaves are heart-shaped, green, and glossy, turning a beautiful yellow in autumn.
Tilia cordata has no special soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is completely frost-hardy.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are of high quality and designed for both nurserymen and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds and stratify them with a short warm phase (lasting 2-4 weeks) and a long cool phase (approximately 3 months). After this process, sow the seeds in pots or directly into the ground at a depth of 1-3 cm. The soil should be fertile and moist, and the location should be sunny.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
