Howenia acerba is a slow-growing tree native to East Asia. It reaches approximately 20 meters in height.

The ripe fruit is brown, edible, and sweet.

The flowers are greenish-yellow, fragrant, and clustered in loose panicles, blooming in late May and early July.

The leaves are green, glossy, ovate, and large.

The plant has medicinal properties!

Howenia acerba requires sandy, well-drained, and moist soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
