Indigofera amblyantha

Indigofera amblyantha is a shrub with a rather loose habit native to China and Korea. It grows to 2-3 meters tall.

The flowers are light purple, papilionaceous, fragrant, gathered in erect inflorescences up to 10 cm long, and begin blooming at the turn of July and October.

The plant is a melliferous plant!

The fruit, pods, ripen in autumn and remain on the plant until spring.

The leaves are oddly pinnately compound, dark green, turning yellow in autumn.

Indigofera amblyantha has no special soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partly sunny, sheltered locations. It requires protection in winter.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

The seeds have a hard seed coat, so it is recommended to soak them overnight in warm water before sowing.

Sowing is best done in spring, after the last frost.

Sow to a depth of about 3–6 mm. If sowing in containers, use well-drained soil.

Ensure constant moisture and a sunny location.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
