Ulmus carpinifolia

Ulmus carpinifolia is a fast-growing deciduous tree. It is native to Europe (including Poland), Western Asia, and North Africa.

It reaches up to 30–40 meters in height.

The leaves are dark green, doubly serrated, ovate or elliptical. The main distinguishing feature of the leaves is the strongly asymmetric leaf blade base.

The flowers are small, appearing in early spring, before the leaves emerge.

The fruits are winged nuts that facilitate wind dispersal.

Ulmus carpinifolia prefers fertile and moist soil. However, it is highly tolerant and thrives in drier locations and urban areas.

It prefers a sunny or partly sunny location.

The photo above shows seeds of the plant included in this offer. The photo does not represent the quantity of seeds included in the offer; it is only a preview image showing the seed size.

Each order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.

The package contains 10 grams of seeds, which equates to approximately 1,500 seeds (quantity determined based on the weight of one seed).

Seed Handling Instructions:

Soak seeds in water for 12–24 hours before sowing. Sow them in the ground or in boxes filled with light, well-drained soil. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil or sand and press firmly.

Provide them with a warm, bright location and regular watering. For the first few days after sowing, it's a good idea to cover the seedlings with fleece to retain moisture.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
