Aleurites fordii

Aleurites fordii is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree. It is native to central China and parts of Indochina.

It grows up to 10 meters tall.

The leaves are green with prominent red glands at the base, and are egg-shaped or heart-shaped.

The flowers are pale pink or purple, streaked with darker red or purple, and are borne in umbel-shaped panicles.

The fruit is a hard, woody, pear-shaped berry.
