Albizia lebbeck is a tree native to Indo-Malaysia.

The leaves are bipinnate, deciduous in the dry season, and are composed of elongated leaflets.

In spring, shiny, creamy, highly fragrant, fluffy inflorescences appear, darkening with age.

After flowering, long, whitish, and papery, pendulous pods mature, remaining on the plant for months and rattling in winter.

It prefers a warm, moist, and sheltered location.
