Musa velutina
Musa velutina is a dwarf, fast-growing exotic plant.
It reaches 1.5-2 meters in height.
The leaves are slightly waxy or slightly hairy, large, oblong-lanceolate, and light green.
The flowers are yellow-pink.
The fruits are distinctive, bright pink, small, and velvety-skinned.
Musa velutina requires well-drained soil. It prefers a sunny location.
Frost hardiness of up to 12-15 degrees Celsius allows for cultivation outdoors in Poland with appropriate protection, or indoors.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24-72 hours (changing the water daily), which will facilitate sprouting. Use a light, well-drained substrate such as coconut fiber, a mixture of peat and sand, or perlite. Drainage at the bottom of the pot is essential.
Place the seeds approximately 1-2 cm deep in the soil.
Maintain a high temperature of 25-30°C and constant soil moisture, avoiding overwatering.
It's a good idea to cover the pot with plastic wrap or glass to ensure high humidity, while ensuring adequate ventilation.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
