Trachycarpus fortunei
Trachycarpus fortunei is a species of tree in the Arecaceae family (palms). It is native to the mountains of southern and central China.
It reaches up to 20 meters in height.
Its leaves are large, fan-shaped, and deeply divided. Their upper surface is dark green, while the reverse side has a silvery coating.
During flowering, the palm produces fringed inflorescences composed of fragrant yellow flowers.
After flowering, it produces brown, crescent-shaped fruits, the clusters of which resemble grapes.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, as well as a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 3-5 days. Choose a light, well-draining soil, such as coco coir or palm mix.
Pour soil into the pot.
Place the seeds on a moist, but not wet, surface.
Cover the seeds with a layer of soil that is about twice their diameter.
Water regularly to maintain constant moisture, but avoid overwatering.
Provide warm conditions conducive to germination.
