Delonix regia

Delonix regia is a small tree native to Madagascar. In our climate, it reaches a height of about 2 meters.

This plant is suitable for bonsai!

The decorative, fragrant, orange-red, huge flowers, up to 20 cm in diameter, densely cover the tree. It blooms profusely from spring to summer. These flowers have earned the plant the distinction of being the most beautiful tree in the world. During the flowering period, from a distance, it looks as if it were on fire.

The fruit is long, flattened, woody, and yellow pods up to 30 cm long.

The leaves are dark green, long, double-folded, and pinnate.

Delonix regia has no special soil requirements. It prefers a sunny or partly sunny location.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and designed for both nurserymen and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Prepare the seeds by damaging their hard shells and soaking them in warm water for 24-48 hours. Then, sow the seeds 0.5-1 cm deep in light, well-drained soil and maintain a temperature between 20-27°C.

Maintain constant moisture, but avoid overwatering.

Provide a bright and warm location.
