Cedrus deodara
Cedrus deodara is a large tree with a spreading habit and a conical crown, native to the Himalayas, as its name suggests. In our climate, it reaches approximately 20 meters in height.
The fruit is cylindrical, conical, up to 12 cm long.
The needles are blue-green, arranged in clusters of 25-30.
This plant is suitable for bonsai!
Cedrus deodara requires slightly acidic, well-drained, and fertile soil. It prefers sunny or partially sunny, sheltered locations. It is frost-resistant.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours. Then, stratify them for a month in the refrigerator. After this process, sow them 2 cm deep in pots with well-draining soil, ensuring a bright location with moderate moisture.
THESE SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
