Abies pindrow
Abies pindrow is a large evergreen tree native to the Western Himalayas.
It reaches approximately 40-60 meters in height.
The cones are broad and conical. They disintegrate upon maturity, releasing the seeds.
Short lateral branches form a narrow, conical crown. The needles are 2-4 cm long, narrow, dark green, and glossy. The Nepalese fir prefers acidic, moist soil.
It requires a partially sunny or shady location.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
First, cool-stratify the seeds – place them in a container with moist, well-drained soil and refrigerate for approximately 1-3 months.
Once stratification is complete, sow the seeds in pots or boxes filled with well-drained, fertile soil.
Place the containers in a location where they will be shaded and out of direct sunlight.
Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid overwatering.
SEEDS ARE FOR SOWING ONLY!
