Cupressus sempervirens Cupressus sempervirens, as its name suggests, is an evergreen tree native to the eastern Mediterranean. It reaches 30 m in height. The leaves are dark green, rounded, and have a sweet, resinous scent. The male flowers are ovate and yellow, borne at the ends of the shoots. The female flowers are smaller, elliptical, green or purple, and grow on the sides of the branches. The cones are oval and up to 4 cm long. Immature cones are green, while mature cones are brown. They consist of 8-14 disc-shaped scales, each with a knobby appendage. The crown is covered with cones year-round. SEEDS AVAILABLE BY ORDER ONLY
