Viburuum sargentii

Viburuum sargentii is a shrub native to Northeast Asia. It grows to 2-4 meters in height.

Pink-yellow flowers cluster in round inflorescences up to 10 cm in diameter, beginning to bloom in late May/early June.

Corta-red fruits cluster in clusters, ripening in late September/early October.

Elliptical, dark green, three-lobed leaves, regularly serrated, up to 10 cm long, turn a brownish-red in autumn.

Viburuum sargentii grows best in fertile, fresh, and moist soil. It prefers sunny or partially sunny, sheltered locations. It is completely frost-hardy.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are high-quality and intended for both nurserymen and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Seeds require stratification. To stratify, mix the seeds with moist potting mix in a ziplock bag or pot and refrigerate for approximately 90-120 days. Check the moisture regularly and air the area. Once the seeds begin to germinate in the refrigerator, sow them in pots with fertile potting mix. Seedlings are frost-sensitive, so it is recommended to overwinter them indoors for the first 2-3 years.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
