Olea europea is an evergreen tree or shrub native to the Mediterranean region. In our climate, it grows up to 2 meters tall.

The plant has medicinal properties! Olive oil has properties that improve digestion and protect the digestive tract.

It is suitable for bonsai.

The flowers are greenish-white, fragrant, and clustered in panicles. Blooming begins at the turn of June and August.

The edible fruit, similar to a plum, ripens in autumn; ripe fruit is black.

The small, green, leathery leaves have properties that lower blood pressure and improve circulatory function.

Olea europea requires fertile and well-drained soil. It prefers a sunny or partly sunny location.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are of high quality and designed for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Before sowing, seeds should be soaked in water for 24 hours. After soaking, the seeds require several months of refrigeration at a temperature of around 5°C (41°F) to prepare them for germination.

Sow the seeds in well-drained soil, choosing a sunny location. Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged.
