Polyalthia longifolia is a species of evergreen plant native to India and Sri Lanka. It is also cultivated in other warm regions of Asia.

It reaches a height of 20 m.

The leaf blade is wavy on the margin and has a pointed tip. The leaf stalk is glabrous.

The flowers are clustered in dense inflorescences, developing in the axils of the shoots. The sepals are triangular and hairy on the outer surface. The petals are lanceolate and yellowish-green.

The fruits are single, ovoid, glabrous, and borne on stalks. They reach 20–25 mm in length.
