Cassia roxburghii, also known as red cassia or Ceylon senna, is a flowering tree in the Fabaceae family, native to southern India and Sri Lanka.

It grows up to 15-20 meters tall.

The leaves are alternate, pinnate, and in pairs with colorful margins that further enhance its appearance.

The fruit is a typical legume, cylindrical and indehiscent.

The flowers are attractive, red to pinkish, in branched inflorescences.
