Acacia mearnsii

Acacia mearnsii, commonly known as black wattle or green wattle, is a spreading shrub or erect tree native to southeastern Australia.

It grows up to 10 meters tall.

The leaves are bipinnate, dark green, matte, and each leaf segment is extremely small and covered with fine hairs.

The flowers are fragrant, arranged in spherical heads, pale yellow or cream.

The pod is straight or twisted, and dark brown when mature.
