Eucalyptus robusta

Eucalyptus robusta

Eucalyptus robusta is a fast-growing, evergreen tree native to Australia.

It reaches 20–35 m in height.

The leaves are lanceolate, leathery, aromatic, and arranged in a spiral pattern.

The bark is spongy, fibrous, reddish-brown, and flaking with age.

It produces white, cream, or rarely pink flowers in dense clusters, blooming in spring and summer.

The fruit is a woody, cylindrical capsule containing numerous small seeds.

Eucalyptus robusta grows best in moist, sandy, or clayey soil, often boggy. It tolerates soils with a pH ranging from acidic to neutral.

It prefers a sunny location.
