Firmiana simplex

Firmiana simplex

Firmiana simplex is an exotic, fast-growing deciduous tree from Asia.

It reaches 10-15 m in height.

The leaves are maple-like, very large, and the bark remains smooth and green.

It blooms in summer, with flowers arranged in panicles.

The fruit is unusual, pinkish-gold, and opens before maturity.

Firmiana simplex requires well-drained, fertile soil.

It prefers a sunny, warm, and wind-sheltered location.
