Magnolia liliflora
Magnolia liliflora is a spreading shrub with a loose crown, native to the Far East. In our climate, it reaches approximately 3 meters in height.
The flowers are decorative, large, fragrant, and dark purple. It blooms in late May and early June.
The fruit is in clusters, numerous.
The leaves are light green, obovate, and seasonal.
Magnolia liliflora requires fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny, sheltered locations. It is frost-resistant.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed handling instructions:
Seeds require stratification. To stratify, mix the seeds with moist sand or peat and place them in a container. Refrigerate for about 3-4 months. Monitor the humidity and air them weekly. In spring, sow the prepared seeds in pots or boxes in well-drained, acidic soil.
Maintain constant moisture and avoid overwatering.
