The flowers are small, aquamarine green, and bloom in late May and early June.
The leaves are large, dark green, palmate, with 3-5 lobes, and are seasonal.
The pear-shaped, purple-brown fruit is edible and tasty, containing vitamins and minerals!
The plant has medicinal properties!
Ficus carica grows best in fertile, well-drained soil. It prefers sunny, sheltered locations and is frost-hardy to -10°C.
