Caragana arborescens
Caragana arborescens is a medium-sized shrub or small tree native to East Asia. In our climate, it reaches approximately 6 meters in height.
The flowers are yellow, approximately 2 cm long, and fragrant. During the flowering period, they are densely covered with inflorescences. Blooms in mid-May.
The plant is a melliferous plant!
The fruit is an oblong pod, 5 cm long, and dark brown.
The leaves are light green and bipinnate.
Caragana arborescens has no soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is frost-resistant.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Seeds should first be stratified by pouring hot water over them, then cooling them to lukewarm temperature and soaking them for 24 hours. After this treatment, sow the seeds in spring, about 1 cm deep, into containers or pots, and place them in a warm, bright location.
