Phoenix Rupicola is a species of flowering plant in the palm family, native to the mountain forests of India and Bhutan.

It grows up to 8 meters tall.

Leaves are 2.5 to 3 meters long, with leaflets 35 cm in diameter, pinnate, and on pseudopods armed with spines.

Flowers are yellow-orange, bell-shaped.

The fruit is an oblong, yellow-orange drupe containing a single large seed.
