Erythrina suberosa is a medium-sized deciduous tree with an irregular crown, belonging to the Fabaceae family.

It is native to the Punjab region.

It grows up to 10 meters tall.

The leaves are trifoliate, oval, glabrous above and hairy below.

The flowers are very attractive, light scarlet, 4 cm long.

The fruits are pods that reach 15 cm. Each fruit usually contains 2 to 5 seeds, which are light brown or reddish-brown in color, smooth, and shiny.
