Adansonia digitata

Adansonia digitata is a broad-crowned tree native to tropical and subtropical Africa. It grows to approximately 20 meters in height.
The flowers are large, white, up to 17 cm long, and pendulous. It blooms in late May and early July.
The leaves are green, palmate, and composed of several smaller leaflets.
The fruit is elongated or spherical, up to 45 cm long, containing seeds.
A characteristic feature of the Baobab is its large trunk, which stores water within; it can hold up to 100,000 liters of water!
The plant is suitable for bonsai!
Adansonia digitata has no soil requirements. It prefers a sunny location.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurserymen and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Scarify the seeds by gently making a small incision with a knife, then soak them in warm water for 24 hours and sow them in a well-draining soil mix (e.g., all-purpose soil with sand), placing them in a pot with a drainage hole. Keep the soil moist, but not wet, in a warm and bright place, approximately 25°C (77°F).
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
