Parkia biglandulosa
Parkia biglandulosa is a perennial deciduous tree in the legume family. It occurs in diverse habitats in Africa and is cultivated primarily for its pods containing both sweet pulp and valuable seeds.
It reaches heights of 7 to 20 meters.
The leaves are small and pinnate.
The inflorescence resembles a badminton ball suspended at the end of a long, thick stem.
The tree's pods, commonly known as carob pods, are initially pink and turn dark brown when fully mature. Each pod can contain up to 30 seeds.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Pour hot water over the seeds and allow to soak. After soaking, place the seeds in a suitable soil. The soil should be well-drained and fertile. Place the containers in a warm, sunny location to provide optimal growing conditions for the seeds. Keep the soil moist, but not wet.
SEEDS ARE FOR SOWING ONLY!
